Media biases in strange but enlightening contexts

You may question this source but it rather clearly deals with WESTERN media bias. You might appreciate it anyway. It is in flash and goes pretty quickly. It is titled Photo Fraud in Lebanon:

Pretty amazing documenting of anti-Israel, *western* news fraud. And these sources have the guts to even mention with feigned moral concern Mel Gibson's problems with his anti-Jewish/Israel issues?!. When Reuters, NBC, CNN, ABC, and the NY Times apologize multiple times, and require counseling for themselves, request insights in counsel from the grieving families of Israeli soldiers...vilified and fiercely fought in part because of such media creations, we'll be ready to read them less hyper-critically again.

On the more Arab free press (OK, that is a joke) Al Jazeers side comes this. An amazing, secular atheist woman appears in a TV interview with significant courage, on a show with an Imman who only states 'So you are a heretic then..'. You might get a kick out of this woman's gutsy-ness, though I'm sure she is portrayed in the media there as a kook. Here's that link for your entertainment.

I wish I could find more academics in the Western world with this secular woman's strength of conviction about principled pluralism. She is a rather inspirational feminist in several ways. Alas "the land of the complacent and the home of the 'correct'" has its own sets of issues in rebellion against God and people of all sorts who are in the image of God. We need grace and mercy too.
